Synopsis

Lockey is always moving — deals, women, parties, escapes — anything to avoid the silence left behind by his mother’s death.

He doesn’t talk about it.
He doesn’t slow down.
He just burns fuel.

But over the course of a Cinco De Mayo weekend in South Florida, Lockey's world crashes in. And in the rare stillness between disasters, Lockey is forced to confront the grief he’s buried deep beneath the speed.

Directors Intention

Fast Boy Lockey was born from chaos, motion, and contradiction — a reflection of a generation that never slows down. It’s fast, raw, and grounded in emotional truth.

Lockey is not a constructed character. He is based on a real person I met during a period in my life when I was running — from grief, from pain, from myself. He lived entirely in the moment, and through him, I experienced what it meant to feel alive again.

This film explores that contradiction: the freedom of living fast, and the cost of never stopping. At its core, Fast Boy Lockey is about momentum as avoidance. The parties, the noise, the movement — they are not just lifestyle, they are defence mechanisms. Beneath that surface is silence, and within that silence is unresolved grief.

My intention is to create a film that moves at the same speed as its protagonist — kinetic, unpredictable, and immersive — while allowing moments of stillness to break through. These moments are where the truth lives.

This is not a story about rise or fall. It is about recognition — the moment a person begins to understand what they’ve been running from.

The film captures the full spectrum of that experience: the energy, the chaos, the pain, and the quiet that follows.
